Sarah and her husband, Matt, have called Park Hills home for the past nine years. Now in her third term on the Park Hills City Council, she chairs the Economic Development and Business Committee and serves on the Financial Oversight and Historic Preservation committees. Committed to transparency and careful management of the city’s budget, Sarah is dedicated to building a community where everyone feels heard and valued.
Beyond council meetings, Sarah spends time reviewing reports, connecting with local business owners, and representing Park Hills at county and Commonwealth meetings. Her remote work allows her the flexibility to balance professional responsibilities with her dedication to the city.
A Cincinnati native and second-generation Walnut Hills High School graduate, Sarah earned a BA in Architecture and History of Art from the University of Cincinnati and an MFA in Design Criticism from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. After nearly four years in New York, she returned home, met Matt, and settled in Northern Kentucky.
By day, Sarah leads the global enablement editorial team at Salesforce, driving content that empowers teams around the world. Her career also includes roles at Delta Air Lines, the Cincinnati Horticultural Society, Frontgate, and Amazon, where she honed skills in design, communication, and strategy—skills she now applies to her service on city council.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys traveling and honing her culinary skills through cooking classes. She also loves visiting museums, discovering new restaurants, working out at YOLO in Park Hills, and spending time with family and friends. Her dedication to Park Hills, combined with her professional experience and care for her neighbors, makes her a trusted and thoughtful community leader.
