Park Hills is the place we all love to call home because of the park-like nature of our landscape, the architectural features of our homes and public spaces, and our many picturesque winding roads. It's important that we:

• Promote a healthier community by enhancing walkability, bikeability, and outdoor spaces to encourage active lifestyles and create safe, accessible areas for residents to enjoy.
• Proactively manage current and future infrastructure and development, keeping residents informed and involved in discussions about changes to our landscapes and roadways.
• Develop more comprehensive plans for economic growth and green spaces, balancing progress with preservation to maintain the charm and character of our community.

Today we’re faced with growing expenses and relatively flat growth in our city’s income. This means we want to:

• Plan proactively for the future to ensure we’re prepared for any new expenses and can continue to support a thriving, healthy community.
• Spend wisely to safeguard essential city services and minimize the need for tax increases, prioritizing the well-being of our residents.
• Explore and create new revenue streams through sustainable economic development to maintain our reserves and invest in improvements that enhance our city and quality of life.

Our city is challenged by technology changes and the inconsistency in establishing and following processes, which hampers our ability to operate efficiently and serve our community effectively. This calls for us to:

• Establish more transparent processes in city communications to build trust and ensure that residents feel informed and engaged in city governance.
• Enhance our city’s website, newsletter, and technical capabilities, while refining processes to provide clear, accessible information and communication channels for residents, officials, and staff.
• Foster greater engagement through regular caucus meetings and public forums, creating open opportunities for residents and officials to discuss and address key concerns in a collaborative environment.
